This 2-3 month program is designed for training aspiring Neuromuscular Therapists in specific Neuromuscular protocols for managing chronic and acute pain.
Internship program is held in a medical professional setting dedicated to pain management and holistic wellness.
This specialized internship combines clinical hand-on practice and mentorship in alignment with the mission and values of The NeuroMuscular Pain and Wellness Center.
Interns will develop practical skills, gain exposure to various patient cases, and have the opportunity to transition into a well-compensated role at the center upon successful completion of the program.
Eligibility Requirements
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a massage therapy program.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and manual therapy techniques.
- Commitment to learning advanced therapeutic protocols in a medical setting.
Program Objectives
- Provide interns with practical experience in neuromuscular therapy protocols and techniques.
- Provide patient education on managing chronic pain and promoting wellness.
- Build expertise in patient assessment, individualized treatment planning, and professional communication.
- Offer long term career opportunities with excellent pay and career support for high-performing interns to join the center’s team.
Program Structure
Duration: 2-3 months.

Schedule: 3-12 hours per week, focusing on clinical practice, skill development, and mentorship.
Orientation and Protocol Training:
- Introduction to the center’s standards and medical environment.
Detailed training on Neuromuscular therapy Laws of Pain and protocols for pain relief.
Clinical Application
- Apply learned protocols in supervised patient care sessions.
- Gain experience working with patients experiencing chronic pain and acute injuries.
- Receive feedback to refine skills and enhance effectiveness.
