The Science of Celluma
Celluma machines are FDA-cleared to treat a variety of skin and pain conditions to regain and maintain your body and skin’s natural vitality without the concern of dangerous side effects often associated with modern pharmaceuticals.
Celluma is a class II Medical device. It is cleared by the FDA for pain management, skin conditions and hair restoration. By choosing FDA cleared medical grade LED devices, you are assured that appropriate regulation and authoritative oversight has been conducted. FDA clearance means that the device has been confirmed efficacious and safe when used as directed. In order for a medical device to receive FDA clearance, each component of the device must pass inspection including each of its sources, suppliers, and manufactures. Celluma LED Light Therapy Devices use three powerful wavelengths simultaneously in each of its three programs to improve cellular health. This is the near-infrared LED light therapy for pain. This is the deepest penetrating setting. This setting is an excellent adjuvant therapy for all pain, joint and muscle issues, supporting any pain related condition located deep in the tissue as well as post surgical incisions. This is an anti-inflammatory setting and is excellent for increasing micro-circulation, angiogenesis (the process that forms new capillaries out of existing blood vessels in your body. Angiogenesis helps your body heal from wounds and perform other vital functions) and neurogenesis (the process by which new neurons are formed in the brain, playing a crucial role in learning, memory, and cognitive flexibility!
Skin Setting/Wrinkles:
This is the Red dominant program, called Wrinkles. It is the wrinkle/anti-aging program used for everything other than Acne or Pain. Proven by research, the red and near-infrared wavelengths, combat the signs of aging. These specific wavelengths of light energy are clinically verified to enhance your body's natural ability to generate collagen and elastin by activating the fibroblast cells, which are the cells that make collagen. This is used for all skin related conditions. It is ideal for use following laser, microdermabrasion, microneedling, peels, injections, and also ideal for use following surgery and deep ablative procedures.
- IPL and RF: May be used prior to or 48 hours after IPL or RF is performed.
